Don't be Fooled by Scammers!
IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT'S USUALLY A SCAM. Why would someone offer you a complete divorce for fifty dollars when most lawyers won't even have a conversation with you without a two hundred (or more) consultation fee? If someone offered you a brand new apple computer for three hundred dollars, would you think that it was a scam? How about a shiny new Ford Mustang for one thousand dollars?
It amazes me how stupid people believe they can get a divorce package for $259 (or even less.)
You are fooling yourself and it's worse because these people aren't lawyers, aren't regulated by the bar and are free to steal your money right out or your bank account. There's a reason lawyers have three extra years of post-college school and have to pass a Bar Exam. It's because legal matters are complicated and anyone offering you a free lunch is just stealing your money.
I Googled "divorce papers" and the very first two pages were scams. These fly-by-night websites are there to rip you off.
I am a lawyer. I have been practicing since 1996. I am ethically bound to do the things I say I'm going to do, or I get disbarred, that's how that works.
DON'T GET FOOLED!!!!!
